Love the Elise choice as it’s one which i want and is attainable.

I could come up with several versions of this construct. Here’s one: Porsche Cayman GTS Lancia Delta Integrale Ferrari BB512i Other immediate contenders would be a Porsche Carrera RS (original) and a Lamborghini Miura SV. How ‘bout a Ferrari 288 GTO? And

Miura S

Not an original color of the car, but it is an original Lamborghini color. But the car was repainted in a color change sometime in its life. But changed to an official Lamborghini color. Restoration record is impeccable. This one is a Miura S, not the SV.

911 advantages; more space, more comfort, that back seat space is a great place for putting things like luggage, more gentlemanly, and more grand touring oriented. The Boxster was perceived to be a less expensive starter Porsche. And the Cayman, being a B

Thank you, Georges, great read; made me nostalgic. You also confirmed my point...

Rushing out for a 630a drive group meet up, will try to revisit this in more detail later, but in brief - 1. Yes, earlier drivetrain (engine and transmission) lubrication sharing was not ideal. Not really a practical problem during most normal driving, bu

On Miuras, the multiple carburettors (generally 4 WBER IDL40 3bbl Carburetors) needed regularly fine tuning but also the design of the fuel supply was however imperfect, the car being known for a fire hazard of the engine compartment,

due to combustion (due to the heat of the exhaust manifolds) escaping from the carburetors in the event of blockage of the floaters in the low position. Other thing to consider, Lamborghini formed the engine and gearbox in one casting. Its shared lubricat
